How it works
The booking process
Simple, personal and transparent — from your first enquiry to the last day.
01
Search and enquire
Find a property that suits your group and dates. Book directly through our website, or get in touch by phone or email — we are happy to help you personally.
02
Booking confirmed
Once you confirm your booking, it is final. You will receive a booking confirmation by email, which also serves as your invoice.
03
Confirm and pay
A 50% deposit secures your booking if your stay is more than 8 weeks away. The remaining 50% is due no later than 8 weeks before arrival. For stays beginning within 8 weeks of booking, 100% is due immediately. You will receive automatic payment reminders.
04
Arrive and enjoy
We send full arrival instructions, local recommendations and our direct contact details. We are available throughout your stay.
Booking conditions
Booking conditions
Minimum stay
Most properties require a minimum of 7 nights during high season. Shorter stays may be possible in low season — please ask.
Payment terms
50% on booking (or 100% if the stay begins within 8 weeks). The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Payment by bank transfer, iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card or PayPal.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation up to 8 weeks before arrival: only the first payment is retained. Within 8 weeks: 100% of the rental amount is due. We strongly recommend taking out a cancellation insurance policy.
Security deposit
A refundable security deposit is required for all bookings. This is returned within 5 working days of departure, provided everything is in order. Dordogne Collection acts as an independent mediator in the event of any dispute.
